Mike Jungerius

Mike Jungerius has been part of the electronic music scene for more than 15 years now, in multiple roles but mainly as a composer, music producer, mixing engineer and DJ. He learned and honed his skills at the highly regarded music school “Rockacademie” in Tilburg, where he graduated as a bachelor in 2015. Ever since he has been composing and releasing music under several aliases. His expertise lies in mixing, teaching and co-production in the field of electronic music, more specifically “clubby” music genres like techno, house, tech-house, deep-house and more experimental music such as ambient.

Under his alias Human Space Machine, he creates captivating sonic experiences that blend deep techno with progressive elements and psychedelic influences.
He found his way into electronic music by channeling movement into rhythmical cadences, crafting a sound that exists at the intersection of techno, house, and experimental electronic music. His productions are often trippy yet inviting, and released on respected labels like Nous’klaer Audio and De Lichting, the latter which he co-founded. Next to his signature outings, he has contributed works to other imprints such as SoHaSo, re:st and Indigo Aera.
With a skillful mix of driving drum patterns, heady atmospheres, and evolving sequences, his DJ-performances are engaging and dynamic. Human Space Machine has played at renowned venues and events such as De School (Amsterdam), Tresor (Berlin), Ratherlost (Lofi, Amsterdam), Breakfast Club (Radion, Amsterdam), Doel (Belgium) and Laut (Barcelona), as well as various festivals. His music has earned support from key figures in the scene, including Jane Fitz, Marco Shuttle, Rhadoo, Surgeon, and DSV1, among others.

Jo Bissa is a Dutch music producer, DJ, and cultural curator based in Amsterdam. He is renowned for his innovative fusion of electronic music with global rhythms, particularly from Africa, Latin America, and the Indian Ocean region.
As the co-founder of the Amsterdam-based label INI Movement and one half of the acclaimed duo UMOJA, Jo Bissa has been a significant figure in the international music scene for over a decade.

His musical journey is marked by a commitment to cross-cultural collaboration and environmental activism.
Notably, his partnership with Mauritian artist KAN led to the creation of the album Losean (2023), a project that blends downtempo electronic beats with Sega rhythms to raise awareness about ocean pollution.
This collaboration, despite the artists never meeting in person, exemplifies the power of music to bridge geographical and cultural divides.

Jo Bissa’s work with UMOJA has seen him perform across Europe and Africa, delivering sets that traverse eclectic house, vibrant exotic rhythms, and funk, always aiming to energize the dance floor.
